I have almost 100 pageviews. Although that isn't too much of an acomplishment (seeing as people have 100's of thousands) most people seem to want to celebrate it. Personally I couldn't care less.

Over the months (or years??) of time I spent away from this website I have come to learn many things not only about the website itself, but about the generation of pre-teen emo kids that this site seems to be crammed full of T-T Many traditional artists seem to go without recognition while others (specifically anime artists and other emo kids) seem to get thousands of pageviews for drawing something that is cute/depressing, and it doesnt even necessarily have to be good.

Personally I think that because of this bias this community has really gone down hill. The concept of DeviantArt is awesome, I think it's pure genius... however the people are what ruin it for the rest of us. People are afraid of change, an artist who's style is unique is shoved aside for one who seems to draw the typical big eyes, small nose, rediculously small/large mouth, etc.

I am sure you've all heard this rant before.

On a lighter, but relivant, note:

I began developing a new style for my art, I seem to actually like it. It's not quite anime, it's not quite comic book, it's not quite cartoon... it's just something new... kinda resembles the art from Shadow Hearts if you want to know. I hope to be uploading something soon ^^ I look forwarding to hearing some critique on it as well as some nice comments... if it deserves the comments that is XD

Anyway, back to schoolwork for me =_=;;
